George Michael rushed to hospital

Singer George Michael has reportedly been rushed to hospital with pneumonia and possible heart problems.
According to The Daily Star, the pop singer became seriously ill last night after having complained about a sore throat on Monday, cancelling a show in Vienna, Austria, just two hours before he was due to perform.

George was reportedly rushed to Vienna's general AKH hospital last night, with a source telling Austrian TV, he was complaining of "a suspected chest infection as well as heart problems."

Doctors have confirmed the 48-year-old is battling pneumonia, but his rep wouldn’t say whether the singer was also having heart issues.

George has a history of tobacco smoking and substance abuse. Only last year he was arrested and sentenced to eight weeks in jail for driving under the influence of drugs.
