Most men just buy roses, but we guess a sports car must be the rich person's equivalent of flowers when it comes to saying "sorry I shagged a bunch of models behind your back", right?
The flashy car, worth over $100,000, was a gift for Demi's 49th birthday on November 11. That's a pretty grand gesture for a non-milestone year. Guess he figured it would take a ton of dosh and a ton of carbon credits to really say sorry – but for Demi, it wasn't enough.
No word yet on whether or not she'll keep the car now that the divorce is officially going ahead, but it's unlikely she's using it right now anyway - she's jetted off to Hawaii to do some post-split soul searching.
And she obviously hasn't had time to change her Twitter name yet either – she's still going by 'Mrs Kutcher' …for now.
