Anne Heche Faced A Critical Brain Damage and 'Is Not Expected to Survive'

Anne Heche is not recovering from a fatal car accident!

According to rep of the Emmy-winning actress, Anne Heche, 53, is facing prognosis after suffering a catastrophic brain injury few days back in a car accident resultantly caught fire after crashed into a house. 

The rep shared a statement on behalf of Heche's family,

"Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition,"

"She is not expected to survive."

"It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she's being kept on life support to determine if any are viable," 

"We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne's recovery and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital," 

"Anne had a huge heart and touched everyone she met with her generous spirit, More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life's work — especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love. She will be remembered for her courageous honesty and dearly missed for her light."

"She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention, She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident."

On August 5, she crashed her mini blue copper car into a house in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, the actress never regained consciousness. The fiery crash destroyed a home and left Heche in critical condition and intubated.

Heche is also mom to son Homer, 20, from her marriage to Coley Laffoon.
