24-time Grammy winner Kanye 'Ye' West continued publicly feuding with Adidas in a series of Instastories he posted Thursday night.
The 45-year-old rapper-designer has been collaborating with the German sportswear company as far back as 2013, but now accuses executives of 'stealing' his Yeezy design for their 'Adilette 22' sandals.
Ye first shared a 4:50am text he sent to Torben Schumacher - SVP, Global General Manager Adidas Originals, Basketball & Partnerships.
'What time will you be sending back adidas comments?' West - who boasts 58.4M social media followers - asked.
'I'd prefer to communicate directly with Paul.'
The Atlanta-born hip-hop star was most likely referring to Paul Bowyer - VP of adidas Originals, Culture Partnerships & Basketball in North America.
Torben replied at 5am: 'I tried to call you earlier. Can we speak briefly?'
Ye did not share his reply, but rather condescendingly wrote via Instastory: 'Adidas I'm not speaking with Torben again. I'm the king. I only speak to the decision makers.'
West went on to say he was 'willing to give' Adidas '20% of sales/royalties/net profit' but stressed: 'Not ownership. As a non exclusive manufacturing and distribution partner.'
The Donda Academy founder - who declared 'I love war' - previously ended his 10-year partnership with GAP on September 15 for charging $60-$300 for clothing he wanted to be sold for $20.
'It was all kind of a disregard for the voice of something that I co-created. I co-created [Yeezy slides] at Adidas,' Ye told Good Morning America on Thursday.
'We had to level up. Really show them who's the new boss in town, that I'm the boss of me. I'm no longer just the man riding atop the polo horse.
'I'm not just a mascot in the middle of the games, getting the crowd hyped up saying, "Hey, wear this, do this," but you know, just learn financial engineering. Learn how to - learn how to really run a company.'
West just secured a new producer for his October 3 Yeezy presentation, which will be held during Paris Fashion Week.
