Prince William and Kate Middleton, happy anniversary!
On Saturday, the royal couple celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary by posting a photo of themselves on their joint Instagram page.
"12 years," the Prince of Wales, 40, and Princess of Wales, 41, simply captioned the adorable photograph.
William and Kate can be seen riding bikes in the Norfolk countryside with their arms around each other in the photo, which was taken by photographer Matt Porteous last year.
The photograph is one of a series Porteous took of the royal family earlier. Other images from the shoot were released last month on Mother's Day in the United Kingdom and during Christmas 2022.
Dr. Rowan Williams, the then Archbishop of Canterbury, officiated at William and Kate's wedding in 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
During his 11-year anniversary with his wife last year, William chose to focus on his royal work rather than the devastating floods that hit Australia.
At the time, the royal sent a statement on the couple's joint social media profiles, one day after speaking with emergency personnel and citizens affected by the country's east coast's devastating flooding.
The official Royal Family account, on the other hand, marked the event by retweeting a post from Westminster Abbey. "Wishing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a very happy wedding anniversary today!" the Abbey stated on Twitter, alongside a portrait of the couple on their wedding day. "Their Royal Highnesses were married in the Abbey #onthisday in 2011."
