On Monday night, the Emily in Paris actress, 30, walked the most coveted fashion stairs in a stunning gown. The sparkling netted item hugged the actress' form before flowing out gracefully into a train behind her. She was decked up in jewels, including a stunning belt, and capped it all off with fingerless gloves.
"Beyond grateful to be kicking off AAPI month with the insanelytalented @ashleyparklady, wearing custom @michaelkors, including fingerless gloves that pay homage to Karl Lagerfield," Park's nail artist, Naomi Yasuda, posted on Instagram. The nails were inspired with this biker chic element, with Licorice by @manucurist and grommets all over."
Earlier in the day, she posted a snapshot with Florence Pugh in Central Park on her Instagram Story, adding, "Pretty perfect way to start a Met gala day and the month of Mayyyyy."
Before taking on fashion's biggest night, the two smiled for the camera while enjoying the sun!
This is Park's second time attending fashion's biggest night, having channelled Audrey Hepburn in 2022 by wearing many "beautiful neckpieces" that Park told HotGossipNewz were "an ode to Audrey." Most famously, she donned a bold neckpiece in 1961's New York City-set Breakfast at Tiffany's – an appropriate choice given the Met Gala's locale.
Park's accessories, which included a pair of strappy green stilettos, boosted her Prabal Gurung ensemble. "It has a deconstructed gilded-age look to it." "The bustle is a bow," she explained, referring to her hot-pink corset and train, as well as her black-and-white ostrich-feather skirt, which nodded to last year's theme "In America: An Anthology of Fashion."
She glammed up her hair with a high straight ponytail and a dramatic winged eyeliner and lashes that accentuated her green eyeshadow.
