Keke Palmer made a stunning appearance on the Met Gala red carpet, wearing a jaw-dropping ensemble that turned heads.
The 29-year-old new mom wore a sparkling pastel tweed gown with a form-fitting bodice by Sergio Hudson, following the birth of her first child, son Leodis "Leo" Andrellton, with boyfriend Darius Jackson in February. She paired the gown with a baby blue cape, rectangular metallic pink earrings, and a voluminous Hollywood hairstyle, along with a navy smoky eye for a touch of glamour.
Speaking with Vogue correspondent La La Anthony, who was also wearing Sergio Hudson, Keke Palmer expressed her excitement to be at the Met Gala and see everyone. She mentioned that this was her second time attending the event, having missed the last one, and she was eager to see what the night would bring.
Palmer also shared that her baby, Leo, was doing well, but missing his mama at home. In a recent issue of PEOPLE's Beautiful Issue, Palmer offered some advice to new moms on coping with the pressure to "bounce back" after having a baby. She urged them to do what they can, when they can, and not get caught up in the hype of it all, encouraging them to keep it real.
Keke Palmer shared her thoughts on the pressure that new moms face to "snap back" to their pre-baby bodies. She explained that celebrities have to look good and look the part as part of their job, and it's not just because they have it easy. They have to maintain their image to keep their job and earn a paycheck.
