Kufrin posted a video of the couple's announcement on Instagram, in which she throws a ball at her fiancé as he hits it with a bat. The camera then focused on Kufrin's reaction to the blue smoke, showing her bouncing up and down joyfully before her fiancé snatched her in a big embrace and twirled her around. The news comes only one week after the couple announced they were expecting their first child.
The Bachelorette alum, 33, uploaded a video of the couple's announcement on Instagram, which featured Kufrin throwing a ball towards her fiancé, 30, as he hit it with a bat. Pink or blue smoke would stream out of the ball if he was effective with the bat. The video begins with a comical scene in which Jacobs mistakenly swings the ball back to her, which she fails to catch and nicks on the chin. The video then turns to a beautiful "home run" in which Jacobs smashes the ball exactly on the target and blue smoke erupts from the ball.
As Miguel's "Sure Thing" played in the background, he joyfully flung the bat up in the air, the blue powder drifting about him. The video then zoomed in on Kufrin's reaction to the blue smoke, showing her jumping up happily before her fiancé snatched her in a massive embrace and swirled her around. "It's a... LITTLE TOMMY," Kufrin captioned the picture. "Daddy loves you so much baby boy," Jacobs commented under the post.
Wells Adams praised the couple, writing, "@thomasajacobs firing the frozen rope back at the pitcher is Congrats to you both!" Abigail Heringer added, "Yessss!!! "I can't wait for little Tommy to arrive." The announcement comes just a week after Kufrin and Jacobs revealed they were expecting their first child. In a combined Instagram post, the two shared a snapshot of themselves with their two dogs as well as a strip of ultrasound photos.
"Party of 5 coming September 2023," the pair wrote, along with a series of photos of the couple handing off the baby photos to the dogs, and Thomas proudly holding up a little San Diego Padres onesie. "We can't wait to meet you, hold you, and watch you grow, Little Bebe." Mom and dad already adore you to the moon and back." The photos were followed by a video from Kufrin's actual ultrasound appointment, which showed the baby's movement on the screen.
