In an interview with TVInsider, episode writer Brian Kelley teased of the reality star’s Nov. 5 appearance: “Longtime Kylie fans won’t be surprised to find out that she plays a secret member of a covert force of enlightened techno-geniuses who keep the digital universe safe for us mere mortals to use. Who else could she be?”

Mr. Burns (Harry Shearer) will fall head over heels for Peresphone ( Elizabeth Banks) — a college dropout turned CEO — whose character is reminiscent of Elizabeth Holmes, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur who was convicted of fraud.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Mr. Burns adopts the “fake it until you make it” motto and agrees to fund Peresphone’s “highly-dubious” dream project.

Alongside Banks, Ken Burns will return to the show as well as Kara Swisher and Andrew Ross Sorkin who will appear as themselves. Peter Jackson, Christiane Amanpour and Peter Coyote will also be featured in the episode.
