Xochitl Gomez is not letting an ankle sprain stop her from competing on Dancing with the Stars.

One day before the show’s Music Video Night, the 17-year-old actress shared rehearsal footage on TikTok of landing on her ankle after doing a cartwheel.

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star wrote “She messed up” on top of the clip, in which was sporting a blonde wig for her jazz performance to “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani.

“This shiiii is BANANAS! 🙈😭🤪 im good tho! A lil sprain but WE WORKIN! #teamxv #dwts #teamyoungnstyle,” she captioned the video.

Gomez’s DWTS partner Val Chmerkovskiy reposted the video on his Instagram Story, adding, “Cause things were going really well” with a crying emoji.

Last week, Gomez told that she also scraped her knee on the altar during her performance to “Game of Survival” by Ruelle.

When asked how she pushes through injury, Gomez responded, “I think it’s just my own mentality. It’s the same kind of mentality I have through rehearsal. It’s just like, it doesn’t matter, you can always get a massage, always figure it out later. Just what’s in the moment is what matters.”

Despite the injury, judge Bruno Tonioli praised her for “creating a monster” throughout her dance, while Carrie Ann Inaba commended the actress’ “storytelling” ability. “It was really powerful … you were like an aerialist,” she said.

Derek Hough said the Marvel star sent “shivers down my spine” and called her routine “captivating.”

She and Chmerkovskiy, 37, went on to win bonus points as the victor’s of that night’s Dance Monster-Thon competition.

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
