Sutton Stracke has issues with Kyle Richards, and she’s not afraid to name ‘em.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the two picked up right where they left off. When Kyle confronted a “kooky” Sutton after a heated discussion, the Southern belle, 52, pivoted to the rumors about her “thick and thin” friend’s marriage to Mauricio Umansky.
“Bring it on babe,” Kyle said, adding. “I’m happy to answer any of your questions.”
Before the conversation could get to a point of no return, the 54-year-old actress left Sutton’s home abruptly.
Elsewhere in the episode, Sutton met with her friend Jennifer and rehashed her drama with Kyle. The mother of three commented on Kyle’s lifestyle changes, noting how she’s gotten “very thin,” has exercised for three hours at a time and given up drinking.
“I haven’t seen her wedding band. I don’t know, I don’t know what it is,” she shrugged before sharing in a confessional. “Kyle is acting in a way that I’ve never seen. Now, we have a rumor in the tabloids about Mo cheating. So I just feel like when there’s all of these numbers it adds up to something … something’s wrong.”
Kyle and Sutton later attempted to patch things up at Garcelle Beauvais’ premiere of Black Girl Missing. The star started the conversation noting how she felt Sutton came off as “aggressive” and “not very nice.”
When Sutton confronted Kyle about her tone, she claimed she was “minding my own business” when the business woman approached her about burying the hatchet.
“You just seemed off, like odd. I don’t know what it was,” she added.
“Kyle is supposed to be my friend and you’re using words that you know will cut me to the core,” Sutton said in a confessional interview, then added that she’d also noticed something “off.”
“Go ahead, you want to throw it out there the other night like such a good friend would do,” Kyle said
“As a friend, can I not ask you?” Sutton wondered aloud.
“You are so full of s — -,” Kyle fired back. “We can have … an adult conversation and go back and forth and not necessarily agree, but when you say something like, ‘Let’s talk about what’s going on with you,’ and you’re very obviously talking about rumors … that’s not a friend.”
In a confessional, Sutton said, “I’m not sure why Kyle can’t confide in me or maybe anyone. Friends confide in one another. They give back to one another. This friendship is a farce.”
The prodding about Kyle’s marriage didn’t end there.
In a teaser for next week’s episode, Garcelle and Sutton confronted Kyle after she was spotted without her wedding ring while at dinner with the other Housewives.
“I’m exercising and not drinking because guess what, even if I have two glasses of wine, the next day I feel down and depressed,” she said, raising her voice. “I can’t afford to be depressed right now.”
In July, Kyle and Mauricio decided to separate after 13 years of marriage.
At the time, the couple denied rumors they were getting divorced in a joint statement posted to Instagram: “In regards to the news that came out about us today … Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”
Richards and Umansky, 53, added that “although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately.”
“While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative,” they concluded. “Thank you for the love and support.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
