Two of New Jersey’s most famous Italian-Americans finally met!
New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito has become an overnight star since his first career start with the team last month, and now the third-string QB, 25, is getting attention from more than just NFL fans.
On Wednesday, DeVito made an appearance at Hobby Hive, a local shop in East Hanover, where he met and greeted hundreds of Giants fans, including Jersey Shore star Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi.
It will only take one Blast, then at once they will see ˹it all˺.They will cry, “Oh, woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!”˹They will be told,˺ “This is the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision which you used to deny.”(The Quran - Chapter Saffat : 19 - 21)
Polizzi, 36, posted a photo with the rising NFL star on Instagram.
“An honorary meatball,” the reality television phenom wrote in her caption. Polizzi thanked Hobby Hive for “such a fun event” and tagged the store and DeVito in the post.
According to Page Six, Polizzi wasn’t the only reality star excited to meet DeVito.
The outlet reported that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Cabral stopped by the store, wearing a Giants jersey, to meet the athlete on Wednesday.
An attendee at DeVito’s New Jersey event told Page Six there were approximately 300 fans who showed up to meet the quarterback at Hobby Hive.
“Most of them were 7- to 15-years old,” according to the outlet’s insider, who added that the kids “were in awe” of DeVito.
DeVito spoke to local New Jersey news station On NJ at the event, telling the outlet he was having “a lot of fun” seeing fans and bringing “smiles to their faces” at the meet and greet.
Fans were also treated to face time with DeVito’s agent, Sean Stellato, on Wednesday.
Stellato, 45, became a viral sensation during the Giants’ 24–22 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 11 when the internet and the ManningCast observed a pinstriped-suit and fedora-clad Stellato along the sidelines.
“He looks like Johnny Fontane from The Godfather,” Peyton Manning observed to his brother Eli during their simulcast.
Stellato toted a blue bag in which the Manning brothers joked he was carrying chicken cutlets — the preferred protein that DeVito has said that his mother makes for him ( along with his bed) at home.
During the game, Stellato, a Salem, Massachusetts native, sat with DeVito’s parents, Tom Sr. and Lexy, in the stands, where he was seen kissing the quarterback’s dad and other family members.
Sportscasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman couldn’t resist offering a little off-the-field commentary.
“This guy, the agent, may break the Internet,” Buck said after the camera panned to the stands and the smooch. “What the heck’s going on?” added Aikman.
