Kat Dennings is a married woman!
The Two Broke Girls star, 37, tied the knot with Andrew W.K. “last month at their home in Los Angeles,” according to an announcement via magazine on Monday.
In a social media post, the outlet shared an Instagram carousel with photos of the married couple at their wedding ceremony as well as a picture of two of their guests — Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song!
“The couple likes to say they met under ‘mystical circumstances,’ “ the publication began in a lengthy caption detailing their road to “I do.”
In the first photo, Dennings sat on a sofa, posing while wearing a cream-colored lace dress and a bold red lip. The next slide showed the actress smiling as she walked down the aisle with her new husband, 44, as attendees threw rose petals into the air.
As for why she ditched the traditional white wedding gown, Dennings explained, “I realized that, as a very pale person, I didn’t like myself in white.” She tried a ton of options before landing on the “most perfect” vintage Alexander McQueen dress.
She also discussed how they knew each other was their perfect fit.
“It quickly became obvious that we were made for each other,” the actress told Vogue. “About three years ago, Andrew had come to visit me for the first time. At the end of his trip, we couldn’t imagine ever separating. We actually proposed to each other in the kitchen at the exact same moment.”
Instead of doing a large ceremony, the pair opted for an intimate, 15-person wedding at their residence as a reflection of their sentimental engagement.
“But in the end, the kitchen engagement moment kept calling back to us,” she shared.
“We realized that a small home wedding was too cozy to resist. Plus, all our stuff was there so we wouldn’t have to pack anything.”
Over on her Instagram account, the actress shared another photo from the Nov. 27 nuptials with her musician beau, and captioned the upload, “🔔 just married 🔔.”
Dennings and W.K. revealed their engagement on Instagram in May 2021, just one week after announcing they were dating.
“Don’t mind if I do,” The House Bunny talent captioned her engagement post while sharing three photos of the couple. In two of the images, she debuted her massive diamond ring.
The newlyweds had a whirlwind romantic relationship. In addition to their dating news coming just one week prior to their engagement news, a May 2021 press release for W.K.’s album, God is Partying, stated that the duo met “earlier this year in Los Angeles.”
