RHOBH Kyle Admits Revealed Real Reason to Having a Fight with Mauricio

Kyle Richards isn't a fan of the unwarranted attention her husband Mauricio Umansky receives on Instagram.

On Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle, 54, revealed that she and Mauricio, 53, have had arguments about the messages he receives from other women on the social media platform while playing a revealing card game at Annemarie Wiley's birthday celebration.

˹Remember, O  Prophet˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to create a human being from clay.
So when I have fashioned him and had a spirit of My Own ˹creation˺ breathed into him, fall down in prostration to him.”
(The Quran - Chapter Sad : 71 - 72)

The topic came up after Sutton Stracke pulled a card that asked, "What is appropriate for husbands when it comes to communicating with other women on social media?" Kyle then responded with one word: "Murder."

"I've had, like, a fight with Mo over that. I hate that," she added. "Liking people's photos, following people — you don't do that."

In a conversation with cameras, the actress expanded on her problems with Mauricio's interactions on Instagram.

"Mo gets a lot of DMs from women," she said. "They don't care that he's married, and they're always the aggressor. And it just makes you realize there's really a lot of f---ing assholes out there."

Kyle went on to say that the list of social media no-nos don't end with DM-ing other women.

"But also, you don't have to follow every single person and like all their photos," she said. "I don't like that at all."

Kyle and Mauricio have faced their fair share of challenges in their marriage. In July 2022, the couple had separated after 27 years together. Just a few hours later, the duo broke their silence and acknowledged they had faced the "most challenging" year in their marriage.

"In regards to the news that came out about us today... Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue," Richards shared on her Instagram. "However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously."

Despite their troubles, Mauricio has insisted that he and Kyle were working on their marriage and had no plans to divorce.

“We’ve been married for 27 years. We’re having a bit of a rough patch," he told in October 2023, adding that “sometimes life throws you different things” and “you’ve gotta work through it.”

Until then, the Agency founder explained his decision to opt out of watching this season of RHOBH to avoid seeing the “dramatization” of his marriage.

“I know that they're dramatizing everything,” he said on the The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show  podcast the following month. “There’s a bunch of stuff that I don't really want to see because it will just create more noise for me and more opinions.”

“People that watch that show are all opinionated and they just don't realize it. There are two humans on the other side of your opinion. That's really, really difficult,” he said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
