Kate Beckinsale has had a special visitor during her hospital stay.
Late on Tuesday, the actress, 50, shared an update from her hospital bed, showing her snuggling with her cat Willow.
Beckinsale lay down in the photo wearing a pink sweater, while the fluffy feline sat in her arms. "Visitor," she simply captioned the shot shared on her Instagram Story.
The update comes after Beckinsale sparked concern when she shared two photos of herself from the hospital on Instagram while celebrating her mom Judy's birthday and Mother's Day in the U.K.
The star looked teary-eyed in the images but didn't explain why she was in the hospital despite mentioning being "sick" in her post shared on Monday.
“Happy birthday and U.K. Mother’s Day this last week to my incredible mother,” she captioned the post earlier this week. “Thank you to those that love us and support us when it’s s--- and try to make sure there are some bits that aren’t. And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can’t. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us . . And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.”
“Thank you for loving us, those who do, and for the amazing, kindest Nick, and especially for my mother’s capacity for joy. It is so inspiring and beautiful,” she continued. “Happy everything mama. Your fight for joy despite also welcoming tears is the experience of watching a warrior up close. I love you x.”
Among the carousel of photos, Beckinsale posted snaps and videos of her mom enjoying champagne and cake while wearing a sweater with 1970 written across it.
Beckinsale last went public with a health scare back in 2019 when she suffered a ruptured ovarian cyst.
“Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry. So thankful to everyone who looked after me,” she captioned two hospital bed photos at the time, adding “#wobbly.”
