Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals How Often She Works Out — and Why It's Now with 'a Lot Less Intensity'

Gwyneth Paltrow recently shared insights into her workout routine during an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on her Instagram Stories. The 51-year-old Oscar winner disclosed that she exercises six days a week, albeit with reduced intensity compared to before.

In a selfie video, Paltrow explained, "I do something six days a week, but with a lot less intensity than I used to." Dressed in a striped sweater, she strolled through the Goop headquarters in Santa Monica, California, revealing her preference for activities like walking. "Even just going for an hour walk, or like now, I'm walking around our giant Goop office. I usually take multiple spins around to stretch my legs," she added.

Paltrow emphasized the importance of staying active daily, stating, "But I try to do something — a little something — everyday." This commitment to incorporating movement into her routine aligns with her holistic approach to wellness.

During the AMA session, a fan inquired about Gwyneth Paltrow's journey to self-acceptance and self-love. Paltrow shared that she had to engage in self-talk to achieve this mindset.

She credited Diane von Fürstenberg for teaching her this valuable practice. Paltrow explained how von Fürstenberg guided her in starting the day positively by looking at herself in the mirror and speaking kindly to herself instead of criticizing. "She really taught me about the importance of becoming your own best friend," Paltrow emphasized, highlighting the significance of self-compassion and positive self-talk in building a healthy relationship with oneself.

Gwyneth Paltrow has been forthcoming about her fitness routines on social media, including during previous AMA sessions. In a March session, when a fan inquired about her preferred workout clothing, Paltrow surprisingly mentioned her affinity for Spanx.

"Weirdly I am very into Spanx," she shared, accompanied by a photo of herself wearing what seemed to be a pair of red Booty Boost Active Contour Rib 7/8 Leggings from the brand.

In the same Q&A, Paltrow delved into her journey into wellness, attributing it to her late father's health struggles. Her father, Bruce Paltrow, passed away in October 2002 from throat cancer at age 58.

"It was actually because my father was diagnosed with cancer when I was about 25 years old and that started to catalyze my foray into understanding food, environmental toxins, food as medicine, alternative stuff like acupuncture," Paltrow explained. She highlighted that her exploration into wellness began in the mid-'90s due to her father's illness, indicating a deep personal connection to her wellness journey.

The Quran - Chapter Al-Ahqaf  : 04 - 06

Ask ˹them, O  Prophet˺, “Have you considered whatever ˹idols˺ you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created on earth! Or do they have a share in ˹the creation of˺ the heavens? Bring me a scripture ˹revealed˺ before this ˹Quran˺ or a shred of knowledge, if what you say is true.”

And who could be more astray than those who call upon others besides Allah—˹others˺ that cannot respond to them until the Day of Judgment, and are ˹even˺ unaware of their calls?

And when ˹such˺ people will be gathered together, those ˹gods˺ will be their enemies and will disown their worship.

Knowledge is in fact of two types: revealed and established. The former reached man through the prophets, while the latter was established as such by means of research and experiments carried out by human beings.

Neither of these two types of knowledge indicates that there is any being worthy of worship except the one and only God.

When neither supports the concept of polytheism, how can a polytheistic credo be appropriate for man? One who seeks the support of any thing or any being other than God, will find himself abandoned by that thing or being in the Hereafter.
