"It didn't look that bad, but they took her away anyway," a source tells.

Blythe Danner is "completely fine" after what seemed to be a medical incident at a charity benefit in the Hamptons over the weekend.

An insider shared that the actress, who is also Gwyneth Paltrow's mother, was transported by ambulance from the Springs Food Pantry's E.A.T. in the Hidden Gardens 2024 event on Saturday, July 13, held at the Corbett Estate in East Hampton, New York.

"It was early on in the event, and she remained seated for a while as they checked her vitals," the source said of Danner, 81. "It didn't look that bad, but they took her away anyway."

A representative for Paltrow's lifestyle company Goop told that Danner is "completely fine" following the incident at the auction/raffle event, which honored actor spouses John Slattery and Talia Balsam. Danner's own representative added that the actress is "absolutely OK."

The Tony and Emmy award-winning actress is well-known for her beloved roles in "Meet the Parents" and "Will & Grace," and she has appeared in films like "1776," "The Prince of Tides," "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar," and "Forces of Nature."

She also boasts an extensive stage career. Perhaps most notably, Danner portrayed Blanche DuBois in "A Streetcar Named Desire" on Broadway, earning her a Tony Award nomination in 1988—her second, following a 1980 nod for her performance in the play "Betrayal."

In addition to Gwyneth, 51, Danner is also mother to son Jake Paltrow, with her late husband Bruce Paltrow. The couple was married for 32 years until Bruce’s death in 2002 from oral cancer.

Danner herself was previously diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a relatively rare form of oral cancer that often develops in the salivary glands.

"It's a sneaky disease," she told in 2022. "But I'm fine and dandy now. And I'm lucky to be alive."

After two surgeries and years of exploring alternative treatments, Danner underwent a third surgery with Dr. Mark DeLacure in 2020, which successfully removed the cancerous tissue.

"My mother is genuinely one of the strongest people I know," Gwyneth told, reflecting on Danner's journey with three surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. "I hope if I ever go through anything like that, I can be like her."

"She went through it with so much grace. I was amazed at how strong she was able to be," the Oscar winner added about her mother at the time.

Reflecting on her experience, Danner shared, "I wasn't quaking in my boots. I don't have any fear of death at all."

The Quran - Chapter Al-Hashr: 12 - 13

Indeed, if they are expelled, the hypocrites will never leave with them. And if they are fought against, the hypocrites will never help them. And even if the hypocrites did so, they would certainly flee, then the disbelievers would be left with no help.

Indeed, there is more fear in their hearts for you ˹believers˺ than for Allah. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.
