"I pushed through being sick in Tampa last night, but woke up feeling much worse today," the country star wrote just hours before his Friday show.
Morgan Wallen is postponing several of his upcoming shows due to illness.
The country singer, 31, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, July 12, just hours before his scheduled performance at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
“I hate to reschedule shows, but I pushed through being sick in Tampa last night and, unfortunately, woke up feeling much worse today,” he wrote to fans in a post.
Wallen explained that he “would not be able to give you guys anywhere near 100%” if he continued with his concerts, which will now be rescheduled. He informed fans, “As a result, I need to move tonight's Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week's Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.”
Shortly after announcing the postponements, Jelly Roll — who was set to perform at Wallen’s Tampa show — told his X followers, “Dear Tampa - I am working hard to put together something for y’all somewhere tonight - stay tuned.” He later announced a first-come, first-serve pop-up show for ticket holders.
Wallen is currently on the extended 2024 leg of his One Night at a Time Tour, supporting his 2023 album of the same name. He’s joined by rotating supporting acts Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Bailey Zimmerman, Jon Pardi, Nate Smith, Bryan Martin, Lauren Watkins, and Ella Langley.
The "Wasted on You" singer announced the tour extension in September 2023 with a humorous teaser video featuring football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning and his brother and fellow NFL star, Eli Manning.
“It’s been one of the best years for me and my music, so we're gonna run it back... same tour name, staying on this album, and visiting many more cities,” the country star captioned the social media clip. “I've got plans to still single ‘Cowgirls,’ ‘Man Made a Bar,’ and who knows, maybe ‘98 Braves.’ Let's keep this thing going.”
Despite the postponed shows, Wallen's next performances will be two concerts in Arlington, Texas, on July 25 and 26 at the AT&T Stadium. His long-running tour — which resumed on April 4 in Indianapolis — concludes on Aug. 9 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Satan has taken hold of them, causing them to forget the remembrance of Allah. They are the party of Satan. Surely Satan’s party is bound to lose.
