The 19-year-old made her return to the University of Southern California, following an interruption in her freshman year after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2023.
Isabella Strahan is resuming her academic journey at college just one month after receiving the life-changing news that she is now cancer-free.
On August 20, Isabella, the daughter of Michael Strahan, shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories. The photo, featuring her mother Jean Muggli, captured the moment as she headed back to USC. "Back at USC," she wrote, beaming and winking at the camera.
In addition, the model shared a vibrant TikTok video, where she was seen dancing and playfully jumping around her newly secured off-campus apartment. "New apartment, who this ‼️‼️" she captioned the lively clip.
Isabella’s first year at USC was abruptly halted in October 2023 when she had to undergo emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma—a malignant tumor located in her cerebellum.
After her diagnosis, Isabella faced a grueling treatment regimen that included six weeks of radiation therapy, four rounds of chemotherapy, and three brain surgeries. She chronicled her entire health journey through a YouTube series, offering an intimate look into her battle.
On July 18, Isabella released a vlog titled “Goodbye Hospital,” where she jubilantly announced that she was officially cancer-free.
In celebration of this milestone, Isabella shared a series of photos on Instagram documenting her cancer journey, including the poignant moment when she rang the hospital bell to mark the end of her chemotherapy.
"After the wildest 8 months, I finally got to ring the bell. Grateful for my journey 🩶," she expressed in her post.
Michael Strahan also took to social media to honor his daughter’s perseverance through her arduous health battle.
"@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell, finishing chemo, and on your way! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾," the Good Morning America co-host wrote. "You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella ❤️❤️."
