Cameras were rolling during Drew Barrymore's annual mammogram and for good reason — Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Two fans joined The Drew Barrymore Show host, 49, as she completed the exam for her show's breast cancer awareness episode, which airs Wednesday, Oct. 9.

In a preview of the upcoming broadcast shared on Instagram, Barrymore wears a hospital gown as she introduces Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, Jessica Saint Clair, and her technician, Terry, who are all breast cancer survivors.

"So all you need to do is relax and I'm gonna place you into the machine," says Terry as she helps get Barrymore ready.

"I've never done a mammogram in heels. This is, this is different," Barrymore says before Terry takes an image with the machine.

After the exam, the talk show host says she "found it to be also a very nurturing experience" and tells fans Dawn and Morgan how it felt.

"It feels like if you took your two hands and you took the breast out and you just did that (motions with her hands) really hard for, what is it, Terry, 10 seconds? That's it, 10 seconds," she says.

While the preview clip didn't show Barrymore's results, fans complimented her bravery in getting her mammogram done in front of cameras and raising awareness.

"Bravo Drew for willing to be vulnerable (literally) in sharing the mammogram process," one fan wrote.

"👏👏👏 This is SO important!! Thank you for showing how this is done and it isn’t as scary as some think! ❤️❤️," another commented.

Last October, Barrymore also documented her mammogram experience for fans and opened up about the "fear of getting bad news" that comes along with it.

“I do think that we all play a very negative mental tennis game in our head about our health," expressed Barrymore. "I don’t know about you, but I self-diagnose all day long and the results are horrible, and that’s not the way I should be doing it."

“So I'm trying to take charge and figure this out and I want to take everyone on that journey with me because I’m totally imperfect. I’m just another human walking around with fear of getting bad news," she continued. "But I know facing it is everything.”

This denier neither believed nor prayed,

but persisted in denial and turned away,

then went to their own people, walking boastfully.

Woe to you, and more woe!

Again, woe to you, and even more woe!
