Filip Forsberg and Erin Alvey have married in perfect fairytale fashion.
The Nashville Predators left-winger, Filip Forsberg, 27, officially married to the "Easy to Love" actress, Erin Alvey, 28, at Alvey's family château "Dunderry Castle", in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. Alvey's uncle, Daniel J. Sullivan III, officiated the ceremony by led a traditional Irish tartan ritual.
The formal reception was arranged for 30 family and close friends which included a five course traditional French meal along with a nod to Forsberg's native lordagsgodis. Lordagsgodis featured 40 types of sweets.
After dinner, guests danced the night away to a DJ flown in from Sweden as they took in a firework display over the castle.
Alvey shared beautiful photos from her wedding reception and wrote on her Instagram,
"Mr. + Mrs. Forsberg🤍 Being your wife is and forever will be my greatest honor, Filip. // & a special thank you to @winniecouture for letting me design my dream gown from scratch, you brought my vision to life these past 7 months, and I am forever thankful.🙏🏼"
Forsberg shared a series of wedding photos and wrote a beautiful caption,
"This weekend has been the best ever. To marry my best friend at this beautiful place, with all of our family and friends, was truly something extraordinary! Let’s ride, Forever Forever baby❤️ @erinalvey"
