Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Marriage Still Halted as Reconciliation in Progress
Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly 'Slowly' Reconciling — But Wedding Planning Is 'Halted' Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly still have a long way to go before they're fully back on as a couple.
"They are slowly working on reconciling but he's totally in the dog house still,"
The source says about the rapper, 33, who showed up to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue launch Thursday night to support his cover-star fiancée, 37, though they did not walk the red carpet together. Says the source,
"He's doing whatever he can to get her back, and she's making him work for it. It's still an unhealthy dynamic though, and their friends just don't see this lasting."
"Marriage remains halted,"
"He has a lot of proving himself to do, and he doesn't want to give her up. He is great with her kids and super hands on. It's a work in progress,"
The Jennifer's Body actress and the "Bloody Valentine" musician (aka Colson Baker) met while making the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020; they got engaged in January 2022. Fox hinted at a possible breakup this past February, removing photos of her fiancé from her Instagram account and posting a cryptic caption. A week later, she returned to Instagram to break her silence amid speculation that their relationship might be over. Fox wrote at the time,
"There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to...actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,"
By late March, a source told Fox was continuing to not wear her engagement ring and that they were in therapy to work on their differences. But, the source said, Fox was "having a hard time trusting" MGK. Fox said on the Give Them Lala ... With Randall podcast back in 2020 that she felt an instant connection with MGK when they met and began working together. She said at the time,
"I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame, Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."
Parker McCollum and Wife Hallie Ray Light Celebrated One Year Marriage Anniversary
Parker McCollum's first year of marriage has taught him the way to his wife's heart. The "Handle on You" singer, 30, and his love Hallie Ray Light celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in March, and with the release of McCollum's latest album Never Enough and his busy schedule, he's all about trying to prioritize quality time. McCollum shares,
"I've noticed that the best thing I can do for her is just give her my time when it's available. You can buy women whatever they want and take them wherever they want to go, but I feel like one thing I've learned is that quality time is really what she appreciates the most. And that's the one thing that I don't have a surplus of, so we make the most of it when we do."
"It's hard not to write songs about her or think about her when I'm writing songs, [but] I really like heartbreak love songs about everything going terribly wrong. So usually she'll inspire something, and I'll change it to make it sad and dark, which she's not always a fan of."
"I don't think about her on stage. Most of the time I'm just trying to be into the show! It's just been such a crazy year, and she's done such a good job at just balancing a life where it's all about me all the time, and I do my best to try to make it about her as much as I can. She's such a terrific one-in-a-million person."
Hilary Duff and Husband Matthew Koma Celebrated Four-Year Engagement Anniversary
It's a happy day for Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma. The couple celebrated the four-year anniversary of their engagement with a sweet Instagram Story tribute. Kicking things off, Koma, 35, shared a photo from the moment they got engaged. He noted the special occasion occurred "four years ago." Duff, 35, reshared the post and added,
"I would say yes again and again."
After their May 2019 engagement, the pair officially wed that December. The intimate ceremony took place at Duff's home with "only family and close friends" in attendance. According to an insider,
"The ceremony started at sunset and they got married inside the house. When the ceremony was over, guests cheered. The reception was in a white tent in the backyard."
Ahead of their engagement, Duff, 35, announced in June 2018 that she was expecting a child with Koma. This was her first child with the musician but her second after having son Luca Comrie, 11, with ex-husband Mike Comrie. Duff and Koma's daughter Banks Bair, now 4, was born that October. They later welcomed another daughter, Mae Bair, 2, in March 2021. On Mother's Day this year, Koma applauded Duff's parenting style. He wrote in an Instagram Story post,
"Happy Mother's Day to my special creature @HilaryDuff, I'm the luckiest to watch you raise ours with your magic balance of sparkle and truth."
In an additional post, Koma joked,
"Now all that being said ... if you try to bring one more dog into this household, I'm out."
