Dr. Dre, music mogul Jimmy Iovine tour their new LAUSD magnet school in Leimert Park

The famous American rapper Dr. Dre real name Andre Romelle Young, 57, and music mogul and entrepreneur, Jimmy Iovine, 69, joined a Portuguese-American educator, Alberto Carvalho, 57, for a tour of Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)'s newest magnet school, the "Iovine and Young Center" in Leimert Park.

This new institute for K-12 education program will engage students to bring their creativity by blending critical thinking in several industries including engineering and the arts.

Dr. Dre shared his visionary thought that,

"We're trying to build at least 10 of these across the country. This is just the start"

Iovine explains the Dr. Dre vision,

"We believe you're gonna make us look good, And you're gonna make this so great, that other kids in LAUSD can benefit by this particular program."

The celebrities are taking initiatives to promote better thinking and education to their young ones. The "Iovine and Young Center" is not the duo's first step into education, earlier in 2013, they donated $70 million to USC for the "USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation".
