Adam Sandler was spotted stepping out with the help of a cane, just after it was revealed he recently underwent hip surgery.
The 56-year-old actor was spotted doing some shopping in Brentwood on Tuesday afternoon, in an exceedingly casual ensemble.
The funnyman was spotted earlier this month walking with a cane, though it was revealed on Tuesday that he was doing so after undergoing surgery on his hip.
Sandler stepped out in Brentwood donning a colorful Hawaiian shirt with dark sunglasses for his outing.
The actor sported a full beard while wearing blue basketball shorts with orange stripes down the leg.
He completed his look with multi-colored sneakers and also rocked a necklace that can be seen peeking out from his shirt.
The comedian was spotted out with his wife Jackie in Los Angeles in early September, when he was also walking with the help of a cane.
It was reported by TMZ on Tuesday that Sandler underwent hip surgery around the Labor Day holiday weekend.
The report also added that the operation was not due to any emergency or sudden injury, and that the actor had actually planned to have it then, between film projects.
The surgery was said to be a success, with Sandler reportedly looking forward to partaking in one of his favorite hobbies: pick-up games of basketball.
Sandler recently wrapped production on You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! and he's getting ready to hit the road on tour.
His tour kicks off October 20 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, with heading up and down the Eastern Seaboard before the tour wraps up November 14 in Savannah, Georgia.
Sandler is coming off his hit Netflix movie Hustle, which debuted back in June and delves into the world of pro basketball.
He has three films in post-production, including You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!, which he stars in alongside his wife Jackie and Idina Menzel.
He also has a sequel to his Netflix movie Murder Mystery with Jennifer Aniston in post-production and Spaceman with Paul Dano and Carey Mulligan.
