Mariah Carey's twins are getting older!

On Instagram and Twitter on Sunday, the 54-year-old pop queen paid tribute to her daughter Monroe and son Moroccan's 12th birthdays.

She commented alongside many images of her children, "Happy birthday to my favourite people on the earth!!! Every day, I thank God for you!"Our love is supernatural!!!" Ooh, darlings, 'cause you'll ALWAYS be my babies!!! ❤️❤️🎉🎂🎈🎁❤️❤️."
Carey began her carousel with a photo of the trio in the backseat of a car. Moroccan motions with a Shaka symbol were made as she and Monroe laid their heads against each other, smiling.

She then uploaded a cute candid of them attempting a selfie in her wardrobe, as well as lovely photos of each youngster.

The article also included some lovely photos of the twins standing back-to-back in similar caps, holding up a dog after what appears to be a martial arts training.

The music icon wrapped up her carousel with a cute photo of the three snuggling up on the couch in matching pairs of Christmas pyjamas.

Carey has two children with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon: Monroe and Moroccan. On the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast earlier this month, the Masked Singer host discussed parenting older children ahead of the twins' 12th birthday.

"This is my first time having 12-year-olds, and I have a bunch!" And we're actually talking," he said of his children. "Because, you know, their lives are anything but normal." Their mother is one of the most famous entertainers of all time, and their father is me."

He said, "They're so intelligent, so in tune with their own values."
