Gia Giudice celebrated her birthday on Monday, and kicked off her 23rd year with not one cake, but two.
Gia and her mom Teresa Giudice both shared photos from Sunday’s celebration on their Instagram Story. Gia posted a photo of a cake with white frosting and pink writing on it that spelled out, “Happy Birthday Gia!” She wrote “🤍🤍🤍” over the photo.
And in Our sight they are truly among the chosen and the finest. Also remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Ⱬul-Kifl.1 All are among the best. This is ˹all˺ a reminder. And the righteous will certainly have an honourable destination:(The Quran - Chapter Sad : 48 - 50)
Later, she shared a few photos of a heart-shaped cake with all-black frosting. “Capricorn Baby” was written on top of the dessert in white frosting. In a video, Gia smiled with the cake as her family sang “Happy birthday” to her.
The unique black cake was made by Palermos Bakery, a New Jersey cafe that specializes in custom cakes.
“Happy birthday 🎂🖤,” Teresa, 51, wrote over the video of her daughter with the monochrome dessert.
Gia also reposted several tributes from her loved ones to her Instagram Story as she was flooded with love on her birthday. Her boyfriend of several years, Christian Carmichael, posted a photo with Gia, writing “Happy birthday!! I love you ❤️.”
Her stepdad, Louie Ruelas, also showed his love for the college graduate as she shared a montage of photos of their family and wrote a lengthy tribute to Gia. “Happy Birthday to my incredible stepdaughter, Gia! You are a force to be reckoned with, full of strength and fierceness. The world is ready to witness all the amazing things you’re going to conquer,” Ruelas wrote in the post.
“Keep living life to its fullest and dancing like nobody’s watching. Here’s to another year of incredible adventures! LOVE YOU ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Ruelas married Teresa in August 2022, and the ceremony was filmed for a Bravo TV special, “Teresa Gets Married.”
Gia’s dad, Joe Giudice, also chimed in and shared a photo with his oldest daughter, writing, “Happy Birthday sweetheart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
She recently opened up to PEOPLE about her relationship with her dad, who was deported from the U.S. in 2019 after spending 41 months in prison for federal fraud charges and is now living in the Bahamas.
"WhatsApp is our best friend. FaceTime is, too. But we honestly see him as often as we can," she said of how she and her younger sisters, Gabriella, 19, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 14, manage the distance. "We do our best, and he's doing amazing."
Though she said she would love to have her dad living closer, Gia admitted she's also found the silver lining in his current residence.
"The Bahamas is a beautiful place," she said. "You can't really be that mad that that is our second home! ... But yeah, he's doing really good. So we're happy."
Since her graduation from Rutgers University in May with a degree in criminal justice, Gia has been working a day job in marketing, pursuing a career in influencing and studying for her LSATs.
