During an appearance on Big Boy's Neighbourhood, the 42-year-old Masked Singer host was asked how he found out from his children's mothers that they were pregnant together.
"It's always a joyful experience," he added, adding that he "allows everyone to have their own narrative" when it comes to publicly revealing the news.
"I'm never the one out there discussing it. "As we all know, dealing with that requires women to be delicate," the father of 12 continued.
"I've been on the other end of that, when someone announces something a little too soon and it's not a successful pregnancy, which is painful." That's terrible because you're delighted for two months and want to tell everyone and then something happens... and that pain, that pain is just as deep, especially for certain folks who have never had children."
"I've had a lot of miscarriages, probably more than the average man because I have more kids than the average man," he explained. "That pain is just, I don't want to compare pain, but you feel that pain, as most women do — you can't say when your child was your child and when your child was not your child wasn't your child."
"So I've been careful. "I'll announce when you're ready to announce," he added. "If you want to announce in two weeks, that's fine; I'll accompany you on this journey." "I'm with you if you want to wait until the first trimester," Cannon added.
"Some people had children and had peaceful pregnancies without thinking, 'Oh, this is Nick Cannon's baby.'" And it says in the announcement, 'Oh yeah.' I respect everyone's process and encourage it."
Cannon has 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, whom he married from 2008 to 2016. With Brittany Bell, he has two children: sons Golden Sagon, 6, and Rise Messiah, 6 months, and daughter Powerful Queen, 2. He has a four-month-old daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, and twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, who will turn two next month.
He also has a son, Legendary Love, with Bre Tiesi, and a daughter, Onyx Ice Cole, with LaNisha Cole. He also has two children with Alyssa Scott: son Zen, who died at the age of five months in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie, who is three months old.
