Baby Girl Arrives 4 Weeks Early for Alexander Ludwig and Wife: 'A Labour Story for the Books'

The baby girl of Alexander and Lauren Ludwig couldn't wait!

On Tuesday, the actor and rising country musician, 30, and his wife shared that their baby was born four weeks early.

"Leni James Ludwig decided to arrive four weeks early on her own schedule." "Born 4/27/23 at 7:24 a.m.," the pair began their joint Instagram post.

"@alexanderludwig was filming in another state and made it back just in time," the caption said. "A labour story for the history books."
The photo was reposted on the Heels star's Instagram Story. "I'd run through an entire building for these girls," he remarked.

He also posted a wonderful photo of his newborn sleeping on his chest with the caption, "Dad mode activated."

The pair, who eloped a few months after becoming engaged in 2020, announced in February that they were expecting a baby this month following repeated pregnancy losses.

"It's been a long road, and we wanted to wait until things were looking promising this time around," Alexander said with a photo of himself cuddling his wife's baby bulge. "Thank you for all of your help. We couldn't be more thankful."

Lauren opened the description of her post, "Baby Ludwig coming May 2023," by sharing the same photos as her spouse.

"As many of you know, @alexanderludwig and I have had a difficult road," she continued. "We had three losses before this one, but each of them taught us something about ourselves and each other."

"There is light at the end of the tunnel for anyone who has had miscarriages in the past." Lauren added, "You are not alone."

Lauren opened her about her third pregnancy loss in an honest Instagram post in May.

"I decided to share because I don't think it's a shame to talk about." "I want to help others understand how common miscarriages are and how they aren't something to be ashamed of," she wrote at the time.

"Going through this has shown me that I am not alone." "It's so common, but I don't think it's talked about nearly enough," Lauren continued. "Perhaps if more of us talked about these things, we'd feel less alone and at fault." I believe that knowledge is power, and I want to start sharing more of it."
