The Princess of Wales typically attends the Wimbledon tennis tournament and presents awards, but she has yet to make an appearance this year.
Kate Middleton has not been seen at Wimbledon yet, but her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, have been representing the family.
On Thursday, July 4, Carole and Michael attended the fourth day of the prestigious Grand Slam tournament. Carole, 69, wore a long, high-neck floral dress with a white blazer, sunglasses, and kitten heels, while Michael, 75, looked dapper in a navy blue suit jacket and yellow tie.
Princess Kate, 42, was not present with her parents as she is currently undergoing chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis, which she announced in March.
After undergoing "planned abdominal surgery," post-operative tests revealed that "cancer had been present," she shared in an emotional personal video, adding that she was in the "early stages of chemotherapy."
In June, she made her first public appearance in six months at King Charles' birthday parade, accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
A few days later, her parents were seen for the first time since her health announcement, attending the second day of the Royal Ascot at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England. Carole and Michael were joined by their daughter's husband, who was photographed helping his mother-in-law when her shoe got stuck in the grass.
There is still speculation about whether the Princess of Wales will attend Wimbledon this year. She has become a regular at the annual tournament and is known for presenting trophies in her role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Wimbledon organizers are reportedly hopeful that she will continue the tradition this year, but she has yet to make an appearance.
Last year, Kate's fashion was a highlight of the tournament, and she had a viral moment on TikTok for her intense focus on the match. She also enjoyed one of the matches with tennis legend Roger Federer, who told The New York Times that it was "so fun sitting next" to her.
"I know her quite well," he shared. "She is an avid tennis fan and she plays herself."
The Quran - Chapter Al-Hadid : 19
˹As for˺ those who believe in Allah and His messengers, it is they who are ˹truly˺ the people of truth. And the martyrs, with their Lord, will have their reward and their light. But ˹as for˺ those who disbelieve and reject Our signs, it is they who will be the residents of the Hellfire.
