Jessel Taank will no longer tolerate any “mean girl” energy with Sai de Silva and Erin Dana Lichy as their feud rages on.
On Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Jessel, Sai and Erin met to play mini golf and indulge in guacamole and cocktails on a triple date with their husbands Pavit, Abe and David.
With Jenna Lyons off in Scotland and Brynn Whitfield down with COVID, Erin asked Sai if she thought the night would be “awkward” following her tense lunch date with Jessel last week while waiting for her to arrive.
Sai, 42, claimed she “genuinely” didn’t care about how they left things and said she was going to proceed as if “nothing is wrong” in order to avoid any confrontation.
The guys went off to play a round of mini golf and Sai went to the bathroom, leaving Erin alone with Jessel, 43, who asked if she was “okay” since her last interaction with the influencer.
“It was definitely not what I expected. You know, I felt like her energy was very like cold and like, almost like negative towards me,” Jessel admitted. “I honestly don’t know what I’ve done.”
When Sai came back from the bathroom, she joined the conversation and claimed that their last meeting was “the most awkward f — -ing lunch I’ve ever had.”
“I just felt like the reasons why you wanted to talk to me — it could have been a phone call,” she told the publicist after she questioned why she felt awkward during their lunch. “You wanted to meet me to tell me that you’re not comparing your struggles.”
Jessel explained that she requested time for a heart-to-heart conversation after she seemed upset during their girls trip to Anguilla. When Jessel had opened up about “her story” during a boat excursion on the trip, Sai exploded and accused her of making up a sob story.
“I was upset because you’re not understanding what we’re saying to you. It’s like, there’s no accountability and for anything and you’re talking in circles, it’s like nothing is making sense,” Sai explained.
In a previous episode of RHONY, Sai opened up about her late mother’s struggle with alcoholism. When Jessel brought up her mother and shared her own experience with living with her alcoholic uncle, Sai shut down the conversation and left their lunch.
“I’m sitting at the lunch and you bring up my mom. I’ll be honest with you. I don’t want to talk about my mom in that aspect,” she admitted, as Jessel said she would have “never” brought it up if she knew it would have hurt her.
Jessel revealed that she “didn’t know” that the subject was off-limits and explained that she was trying to find a way to connect with her by sharing her own story.
“My mom is clearly — I’ve never opened up about it. I talked about it and I don’t talk about it anymore,” Sai said. “I was super offended.”
“I am honestly blown away,” Jessel said in a confessional interview. “Being offended that I shared a story about my uncle who went through a really hard time and eventually passed away? I have no words.”
Sai continued to accuse her of “talking in circles” and lying about details about her life. When Jessel claimed she’s “literally never lied to you guys,” Sai brought up how she “lied” about her husband Pavit going to Vietnam the next week to earn miles when his ticket hadn’t been booked yet due to closed borders.
“Seriously, I’m so over this mean girl s — — and it is mean girl s — -,” Jessel breathed while Sai retorted, “Nobody is being a mean girl, Jessel, you make no sense when you speak. You cannot answer a question and you speak in circles.”
“I don’t get a chance Sai, the minute I try, this is what happens,” she replied, gesturing to Erin. “She, your f — -ing pet parrot [gets involved].”
“It’s just me and you talking right now,” Sai replied with confusion. “She’s talking to Ubah. You f — -ing had me sitting there for 35 minutes and didn’t even have the decency to call me. I didn’t even want to be at the lunch, it was a waste of my f — -ing time.”
“I’m actually so f — -ing over you,” she continued, rising from her seat and walking away. “Let’s be done. I’m out. f — -ing bitch.”
Jessel shouted after her, “Diva!”
In a sneak preview of next week’s season finale, the rift between Erin, Sai and Jessel grows wider as Erin reacts to being called Sai’s “pet parrot.”
“Pet parrot?” she asks, visibly frustrated. “I want to drop kick her.”
