The Jamaica sun might be getting to the Southern Charm-ers.
With the cast still in Jamaica on Thursday’s episode, Shep Rose told Whitney Sudler-Smith that he’d seen ex Taylor Ann Green with Jarrett “JT” Thomas late the night before.
“If they hooked up, that’s really sad for her,” said Shep, 43.
Shep added in a confessional interview, “I think Taylor’s of this ilk that she thinks that she needs a guy.”
Madison LeCroy touched base with Taylor, 28, about her night with JT, 38, at the pool.
“It was funny running into you and JT,” Madison, 32, told Taylor. “There was some flirting.”
Taylor claimed JT suggested continuing the night with drinks on the porch and that while JT “makes me laugh,” she thought “he would be a lot to handle.”
THE NEWS HITS JAMAICA
Before the group split up to head out on some excursions around Jamaica, Olivia Flowers received word that an article about Taylor and Austen Kroll’s hookup had been posted online.
“This is my nightmare right now,” said Austen, 36.
Austen went with trip leader Craig Conover, Taylor and Madison to The Ocho Rios Blue Hole, while Olivia headed to the falls with Shep, JT, Rod, Rodrigo and Venita Aspen. On the bus ride over, JT said he and Taylor drank until 5 a.m. last night. Shep implied that something more happened between JT and Taylor, but he denied it.
“If you’re asking if I hooked up with Taylor, the answer would be no,” JT said.
The link to the story about Taylor and Austen continued to make the rounds among the group.
“It’s just upsetting and somehow it’s more real when it’s… when you read about something, even though you already knew about it and you’re trying to quote-unquote heal,” Shep said. “And it just opens the wound.”
Shep wondered who the “friend of Whitney’s” referenced in the article could be and thought the story “makes me sound like a p — -y.”
“I think they had sex,” Olivia said of Taylor and Austen.
Shep replied, “You’re not the only one.”
Each group continued discussing the article during their excursions.
“When your face is showing up on a national thing for being a douche bag, you’ve got to make a change,” JT said to Rod, 40.
Meanwhile, Austen and Taylor lamented their hookup had been brought up again.
“I’m pretty sick and tired of like feeling like I did things wrong at every turn,” Austen said.
Taylor told Austen she thought “that it was over.”
Madison suggested Austen and Taylor clear the air in front of everyone and tell the group: “Get over it or don’t.”
Craig, 34, agreed. “You have to pick Austen or Olivia because you can’t have both,” he said to Taylor.
TELLING THE TRUTH AT MISS T’S
The Charmers reconvened at Miss T’s restaurant, but Olivia, 31, hung back on the bus to FaceTime with Leva Bonaparte about the article.
“They’ve hooked up more than one time,” speculated Leva, 44.
Olivia told Leva she felt “like an idiot” and questioned the timeline of when exactly everything went down between Austen and Taylor. Leva suggested talking to JT for more insight.
Olivia did exactly that when she went inside and sat down at the table with the rest of her castmates.
“She seemed to believe you know stuff I’m supposed to know,” Olivia said to JT of Leva.
JT informed Olivia that Taylor told him there had been “multiple sleepovers” with Austen.
Olivia and Austen proceeded to engage in separate conversations about each other on opposite sides of the table that they could, of course, overhear.
“I’m exhausted by the whole thing, to be honest,” Austen said.
Olivia felt like she’d been the one to truly suffer because of this situation. She told Austen, “Don’t do dumb s — — and it won’t have to be talked about!”
Olivia believed she didn’t have “the truth or consistency about anything” concerning Taylor and Austen’s relationship. She also thought more happened than just a kiss, which Austen denied again.
Rod called Austen out for toying with Olivia’s emotions. “I’m not trying to whatsoever,” Austen said.
JT didn’t like that response.
“That’s a shallow apology,” he shouted at Austen. “How about a real apology from you to this f — -ing table? This has to f — -ing end. You are an insecure little boy.”
Olivia piled on Austen, calling him “a lying piece of s — -.”
Taylor started crying and told Shep she could not “physically and emotionally” take any more scrutiny.
“Everybody’s picked Olivia’s side,” Taylor said in an interview. “Nobody wants to hear me out except for Shep.”
Shep wanted to call it a night, but Craig thought everyone should stay and hash things out.
“You’re a f — -ing drunk, awful boyfriend,” Craig said to Shep.
Shep said Craig got off “scot-free” when it came to his relationship with Paige DeSorbo being under the microscope. Craig credited that to not cheating on his girlfriend.
Shep suggested, however, that the Summer House star, 31, cheated on Craig: “Maybe it’s the other way the f — — around.”
