To children all over the world, actor Stevin John is best known as Blippi, a curious kid's entertainer who teaches them about everything from colors to counting and weather patterns. At home, with his fiancée Alyssa Ingham, John is teaching his own child lots of lessons, too.
John and Ingham have been together almost as long as he has been wearing Blippi's unique orange glasses — he premiered the character in 2014 on YouTube, and the pair began dating in 2015.

Since then, they’ve built a life together, getting engaged in 2021, rescuing their two dogs, Lyno and Lily, and welcoming their son Lochlan in 2022.
While Ingham herself keeps a pretty low profile, posting only sporadically on Instagram and making cameos on her husband’s social media channels, the couple do give their fans and followers a peek into their life together.
In his 2022 birthday tribute to Ingham on Instagram, John called her "the absolute love of my life." He captioned photos of them together, "Words cannot describe how much I love you❤️!"

John and Ingham share a passion for educational children's content.
According to her LinkedIn, Ingham has been a communications manager for Kideo Inc., the company behind Blippi, since January 2018. Ingham’s bio says her duties include “working to create educational children's content for a multicultural audience.”
She has her master's degree
Ingham received her bachelor's degree in psychology and family studies from Central Washington University in 2017. Five years later, she earned a master's degree.
“28 made me a mom, completed my master's degree, moved twice, and spent so much time with my loved ones,” she wrote on Instagram to mark the occasion alongside pictures and video of her, John and Lochlan. “Can’t wait to experience what’s in store for the last year of my twenties!”
They started dating in 2015
John and Ingham haven't shared how they met, but they have confirmed they started dating the year after he uploaded his first Blippi video.
After John proposed in 2021, Ingham shared a celebratory Instagram post with the caption, “2015-forever ... I love you."
They got engaged in 2021
After six years together, John proposed to Ingham on the beach in Malibu, California, on Aug. 1, 2021.
“I got upgraded from boyfriend to fiancé!” he wrote on Instagram next to a series of photos from the proposal. "@alyssaingham I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with you!"
The couple haven't shared much about their eventual walk down the aisle, but they did tell Parents in March 2022 they were considering a destination wedding.
They share a son
John and Ingham welcomed their first child, son Lochlan David John, on March 9, 2022.
"Your mother and I love you so much!❤️ Welcome to the world!" John wrote on Instagram after his son’s birth.
He also shared how excited he was to put his Blippi skills to work when parenting Lochlan.
"Since I'm a very curious person and want to learn everything — that's why Blippi videos are the way they are — I am very excited to teach our own child the curiosities and joys of life," John told Parents that same month.
Ingham also announced Lochlan’s arrival on Instagram, posting a sweet family photo and writing, “Welcome to the world baby boy we love you so much.”
Since his birth, John and Ingham have continued sharing about Lochlan's growth, like documenting his first flight and one of their family Halloween costumes, an ode to Dumb and Dumber.
She is also a dog mom
John and Ingham started as puppy parents — the pair have two dogs, Lyno and Lily.
Lily joined the pack in November 2020 and is Lyno’s “BFF,” according to Ingham. The dogs even have their own Instagram account, where she also shares her passion for rescue dog adoption.
