Netflix is not financing any more to Johnny Depp after his defamation trial against Amber Heard.
An American actor, producer and musician, Johnny Depp, 59, is back in acting again but this time Netflix is not backing him up after defamation trail against Amber Heard although he won the case. Depp is starring in a French movie "La Favorite" which is not financed by Netflix. Netflix will issue license to stream in France only if it completes the country's 15 month theatrical window.
Depp will play as a French King Louis XV in the movie "La Favorite". This project is directed by Maiwenn, produced by Pascal Caucheteux and Gregoire Sorlat.
