Colombian pop star, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, 45, will face sentence of eight year and two months in jail and a massive fine of over €23 million by the Spanish prosecutors against six cases of evading taxes of worth over €14.5 million in Barcelona.
The case will be handled by a court in the vicinity of Barcelona, where Shakira resides. A hearing is expected in the next few weeks, where Shakira will be called to testify.
