Kate Walsh revealed she secretly got engaged to Australian farmer Andrew Nixon during an Instagram Live she did with Amy Brenneman on Wednesday night in honor of the 15th anniversary of their show Private Practice.
'Here comes the jungle cat, that is my fiancé,' the beaming bride-to-be - turning 55 next week - announced Wednesday from their Perth home.
Brenneman replied: 'She just 100 percent outed your engagement!'
'I did, I just outed our engagement,' Kate confirmed, prompting Andrew to respond: 'Awww.'
Walsh and Nixon later kissed each other on camera to the delight of her fans tuning into the 38-minute online chat.
The Cali-born, Arizona-raised actress reportedly met the Nixon Farming staffer on a cruise just before the start of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020.
The Nixon family have been farming predominantly malt barley and canola in the Moora/New Norcia area of Western Australia for close to 100 years, according to the website.
This will be the second time down the aisle for Kate, who ended her 15-month marriage to Day Shift executive producer Alex Young in 2010.
At the time, the showbiz couple - who legally separated 2008 - cited the celeb favorite 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split.
Walsh has a recurring role as Dr. Addison Montgomery in the 19th season of Grey's Anatomy, which premieres this Thursday on ABC.
The SAG Award winner originated the role of the neonatal surgeon back in 2005 during the first season of Shonda Rhimes' long-running medical drama, and her spin-off Private Practice ran for six seasons spanning 2007-2013.
Kate will also reprise her role as Madeline Wheeler in the third season of Emily in Paris, which premieres December 21 on Netflix.
