One of the three singletons has already threatened to pull out of the Stan dating series Love Triangle after meeting her blind date didn't quite go to plan.
In the first episode of the series, Ly, 28, seemed disappointed with her decision in choosing 32-year-old builder Ben.
The Australian-born Vietnamese counsellor admitted she usually dates Asian men, but is open to expanding her horizons.
Her initial choice was her other match Danny, a 31-year-old entrepreneur, who she suspects may be Vietnamese after a text exchange hinted that he could speak the language.
Instead, Ly took the plunge and chose Ben after Danny missed her phone call to go on a date.
'I'm still picturing the surfy kind of look,' she said of Ben's appearance before meeting him.
'Blond hair, blue-hazel eyes.'
As Ben stepped out onto the pier where Ly waited, she appeared completely taken aback by his appearance.
'Oh my god. I think that's him. Is that him?' she asked herself, laughing nervously.
The pair greeted each other as Ly exclaimed, 'Oh my god, you have orange hair!'
'I do have orange hair,' Ben replied with a laugh.
They then had a little bit of small talk before Ly was seen talking to producers.
'He's got orange hair,' she told the cameras. 'Different to what I expected I guess.'
As the night went on, Ly appeared to doubt her decision and even started having second thoughts about participating on the dating show altogether.
'I don't know whether I can go through with this. It's a bit much,' she told a producer quietly as other crew members were setting up Ben's microphone.
'It's not what I'm used to. I'm not used to this. Definitely not the type that I'd go for.
'I wanna leave this whole entire thing, honestly.'
Episode 1 and 2 of Love Triangle premiered on Thursday, October 6, with new episodes to follow every Thursday weekly on Stan.
Created by the producers of Married At First Sight, the series follows a group of singles who are challenged to think outside the box and chose a mate who may not be their idea of a 'perfect partner'.
'Love Triangle represents a thrilling new step for Stan as we continue to ramp up our Stan Originals output, leveraging the proven pedigree of the Nine Network and the extraordinary makers of Married At First Sight to deliver a sensational new dating format,' Stan Chief Content Officer Cailah Scobie said.
'This is going to be an unmissable reality television event.'
The Stan Originals series is produced by Endemol Shine Australia in conjunction with the Nine Network.
With Endemol Shine Australia Director of Content Tara McWilliams and Nine's John Walsh, who have both been Executive Producers of Married At First Sight Australia since its inception in 2015, the show is bound to be a surefire hit.
'We are incredibly proud to produce the addictive new relationship series, for Stan,' said Endemol Shine Australia Chief Executive Officer Peter Newman.
'Tackling the difficulties of modern dating, the series features incredible characters on the journey to find long lasting love but with a mind-blowing mid-season twist. All we can say is, remember that a triangle has three sides!'
