The ladies are crowded together in a First Look shot posted Friday for their upcoming Paramount+ show Special Ops: Lioness, obviously casing their surroundings, which include neutral stoned walls and columns — and possibly something (or someone) off in the distance?
Saldaa, 44, is dressed in a dark workman-like jacket over black pants, while Kidman, 55, is dressed in a dark power suit with a grey undershirt.
Saldaa, who is also the series' executive producer, plays Joe, the station chief of the Lioness programme (a real-life training programme at the CIA), who is tasked with "training, managing, and leading her female undercover operatives," according to a press release.
Following her heartbreaking international love tale, Saldaa previously told HotGossipNewz about Lioness in Scratch, "I feel like this is going to be just as challenging, just as emotionally compromising, but in its own unique way."
She will co-star with Laysla De Oliveira, who will portray a "rough-around-the-edges but passionate" Marine recruit in the Lioness Engagement Team tasked with "bringing down a terrorist organisation from within."
Kidman, who also serves as an executive producer on the show, plays Kaitlyn Meade, a veteran CIA Senior Supervisor who battles to reconcile her professional and personal lives while teaching someone who is treading in her footsteps.
Morgan Freeman, 85, has been cast as US Secretary of State Edwin Mullins in the series, which is directed by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.
Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur, and Hannah Love Lanier are among the series regulars, with Michael Kelly appearing in a recurrent role.
