The Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner, 40, is caught lying about Raquel, 28, spending the night at his apartment in HotGossipNewz's exclusive peek of Wednesday's Vanderpump Rules episode.
"After Beach Day, [Tom] Schwartz, Raquel, and I drove back to my house, jumped in the jacuzzi, hung out, drank some drinks, and listened to music." "We went into the jacuzzi," Sandoval confesses.
Raquel admits to sleeping over at his place while his longterm girlfriend Ariana, 37, was out of town as she tells the incident to Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, Brock Davies, and Sandoval.
"We went in the jacuzzi after hanging out," Raquel adds, to which Ariana responds, "Yeah, which is something we always do."
"And then I stayed the night and slept on the couch," admits Raquel.
"I was like, 'Dude, go upstairs, go to the f---ing guest room,'" Sandoval said emphatically.
Scheana, 37, reminds out that Sandoval and Raquel's story of what transpired that night was not always the dominant narrative.
"Raq said you guys lied and said she didn't stay the night," Scheana informs the others.
Sandoval can be seen in a flashback telling Schwartz, Peter Madrigal, and Scheana's husband Brock that Raquel did not stay over.
"On the heels of, you know, the open relationship rumour, and obviously, Schwartz and Raquel making out in Mexico, we just thought maybe it'd be better if everyone didn't know that little detail," Sandoval tells cameras.
Sandoval returns to the group and argues, "I wasn't lying. She did, after all, dip out. She went to the toilet and passed out."
But, in front of the cameras, he admits he made a mistake. "I was going to tell Ariana, but we should've just told the truth," he confesses. "Like, stupid."
Sandoval and Ariana split up after nine years because he had been cheating on her with Raquel, according to reports in early March. Both Sandoval and Raquel apologised, and Raquel has since voluntarily attended a mental health facility for counselling.
"She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment," Raquel's representative told HotGossipNewz earlier this month. "Bravo and production were aware of and supportive of her mental health journey."
The conflict between Sandoval, Raquel, and Ariana will continue throughout VPR season 10 and will be explored at the upcoming reunion, which will take place on March 23.
