Blac Chyna has found the love of her life in songwriter and rapper Derrick Milano, the reality TV star told in a statement on Wednesday.
After going Instagram official with their relationship earlier this week, Blac Chyna, who now goes by her birth name Angela White, said in a statement, “You won’t be able to say power couple without mentioning Angela White & Derrick Gray!”
“They always say don’t go looking for love, let love find you. In… this case love found us,” White, 35, said in her statement. “I know that might sound cliche, but hey, it be like that sometimes.”
The “best thing” about their relationship is the “friendship” they built with one another, White explained, adding that their “long talks, consistency, support, love, trust, and faith” made their relationship “what it is.”
White believes that God’s timing is “always right & when it comes to love, you have to have faith in GOD & each other. But always GOD first!”
“Being able to be around somebody in your most vulnerable state plays a huge role in a successful relationship,” White’s statement continued. “Not to mention how important communication is to express to each other feelings, emotions, & honesty.”
White also pointed out that their relationship is supported by them both “executing and dominating” their career goals. “As you know I’m very involved in my career & vision just as much as Derrick is,” she wrote. “When I win ‘WE WIN’ when He wins ‘WE WIN.’”
They both “love it here” and “value this relationship,” she continued.
The statement took a “serious note” near the end, with White teasing “some very impactful things” in the future for herself and Milano, 29, that will “not only elevate us as a team but the community and the world by leading by example.” White also mentioned in the very end that her mother, Tokyo Toni “loves” the musician as well.
White and Milano shared pictures of each other together on Instagram Monday and Tuesday. White’s photo showed the two smiling at each other, with the simple caption, “❤️X🙏🏽.”
Milano, who won the 2021 best rap song Grammy as a co-writer on Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage Remix,” shared a picture of himself carrying White. “It hits different when you find your best friend & lover at the same time. ♾️🧩 Love you Angela 🤞🏾❤️,” he wrote.
Earlier this month, White, who shares daughter Dream, 6, with ex Rob Kardashian and son King Cairo, 10, with rapper Tyga, marked one year of sobriety.
“September 14 , 2023 marks my one-year of sobriety this year taught me a lot about myself. I made up my mind on September 14, 2022 that I was done with the alcohol,” she wrote on Instagram. “This process is not easy but I did it, I plan on continuing practicing sobriety.”
After thanking everyone for their support, White wrote of herself, “Angela White is unstoppable, smart, beautiful, brave, a great mother, and a great friend.”
