Salt Lake City’s housewives are back with their snowflakes in tow — and taglines that do not disappoint.
Ahead of tonight’s episode, the season 4 opening credits for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Neither veteran Housewives Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose nor newcomers Monica Garcia and Angie Katsanevas held back for their iconic one-liners this season, which fittingly include religious references and not-so-subtle digs at fellow cast members.
The season 4 opening credits begin with Barlow, who says, “I’m on a mission to serve Lisa, and I love that for myself.”
For her part, Gay celebrates the success of her expanding business — and addresses hypocrites — by stating, “I own a beauty empire, so I don’t need any of your lip service.”
In episode 1, Gay revealed that she opened a second Beauty Lab + Laser location during what she called “a transformative year.”
New Housewife Garcia doubles down on her claim of knowing “dark secrets” about her castmates in her very first tagline for the franchise. “I keep my friends close, but my secrets closer,” says the mother-of-four.
Garcia initially vocalized her skepticism of her fellow Housewives during last week’s premiere episode. “It is so crazy hearing them portraying these perfect lives,” Garcia shared in a confessional. “We’ve all heard things about each other thanks to Jen [Shah]. So I’m like trying to walk this fine line of being open-minded and non-judgemental even though all their dark secrets are very heavy on my mind.”
Next up for a tagline is Marks, 51, who says, “In a town full of dirty lies, everyone can use a bath.”
The tagline is clearly inspired by her bubbling conflict with Rose, who made a “shady” joke about Marks’ bathtub habits to the press. In addition to her drama with Rose, Marks’ ongoing fallout with Barlow is expected to continue this season, though the jewelry designer recently told that their friendship is “better this year that it was last year.”
For her first tagline as a Housewife, Katsanevas promises, “I may be Greek, but don’t expect an olive branch from me.”
Rose, 36, closes out the opening credits with, “Having faith in myself is the only religion I need.” Last season documented Rose’s decision to formally remove herself from the Mormon church, while season 4 will detail her marriage troubles with husband Justin Rose.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
