Savannah Chrisley has a new man.
A source tells that the Chrisley Knows Best alum, 26, is now dating Robert Shiver, an ex-football player who survived his wife Lindsay Shriver’s alleged plot to murder him after he learned of her alleged affair.
The former beauty pageant queen and Auburn University cheerleader from Thomasville, Ga. and her alleged boyfriend were accused of plotting to kill Robert with an alleged hitman.
Per Bahamas Court News — who reported the story on July 28 — the trio were arrested by police in Abaco, Bahamas where the former married couple shared a home. Law enforcement made the arrest after discovering a chain of WhatsApp messages that laid out the alleged plot to kill Robert while investigating a July 16 break-in at Grabber’s Bar and Grill on Guana.
The phone containing the messages belonged to someone suspected of the break-in.
“On July 16, 2023 at Abaco, [the defendants,] while being together did, with a common purpose agree to commit an offense, namely the murder of Richard Shiver,” the police report said, according to the Thomasville Times-Enterprise.
Following the incident, the trio appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley and were not required to enter a plea, according to the Bahamas Court News.
They remain held in a Bahamian jail and are scheduled to return to court on Oct. 5.
As for Chrisley, her romance with Robert comes after she and Nic Kerdiles parted ways following their near two year engagement.
Back in September 2020, the reality star announced that she and her ex-fiancé have “decided to call it quits” in a post shared to Instagram.
“You’ve all been wondering…so here it is: Oh how I wish this smile was on my face and that infectious laugh was spewing out of my body right now…but sadly it’s not. Nic and I have decided to call it quits,” she began.
“There’s no hatred between the two of us…and in all honesty…that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually,” Chrisley continued.
She said that while “these past 3 years have been some of the best years of my life,” she is choosing “to trust that God has a far greater purpose for my life.”
“I believe that He will take this hardship and make something beautiful out of it,” she concluded. “Now please be kind with this news that I am sharing.”
