Christine Brown and David Woolley are still basking in newlywed bliss — and they’re taking their love to the Big Apple!
The Sister Wives star, 51, and her husband enjoyed a weekend trip to New York City and “had the best time” as they explored the city together.
Brown shared several photos from the trip on Instagram with Woolley, 59, and her sister and brother-in-law as they visited the observatory at One World Trade Center and enjoyed a meal at NYC hotspot Cote.
Woolley shared three selfies with Brown from the trip, too, as they visited Central Park and posed with other parts of the city’s skyline. “I always wanted a traveling partner, I never expected I’d find the whole package,” he wrote in the caption. “I love being married to this woman!”
The newlyweds’ trip comes a little over a month after they said “I do” in October in Moab, Utah, in what Brown told was a “fairytale” wedding.
“It’s everything I never thought I would have,” she said. “I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”
In the aftermath of her split from her husband of 25 years, Kody Brown, Christine shared that the dating world was daunting as she had “never dated anybody” before her relationship with Kody, with whom she shares six kids: daughters Apsyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 20, Truely, 13 and son Paedon, 25.
In a recent episode of the TLC show, Christine admitted that Kody “was the first boy I kissed and it was after we were married” so entering the dating world felt “frightening.”
Luckily, she found Woolley, and the businessman “has more integrity than anybody I know,” she told.
“He’s a phenomenal person, to the core. He’s just outstanding,” Christine admitted. “Yeah, I just feel like I won a gold mine — major. I won the lottery with him.”
The pair struck up a connection earlier this year after meeting on a dating app, which Christine shared on Instagram on Valentine’s Day as she called him her “soulmate.”
“I finally found the love of my life, David,” she wrote in the caption. “The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took its first breath. He’s wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this.”
Ahead of their wedding, Christine told that Woolley’s dating profile had “all the right pictures” and sold her on him.
“It was him with those eyes. I’m like, ‘You know what? I want to be looked at with those eyes for the rest of my life.’ Him with with his grandkids, and at Disneyland, and then him on a beach. I’m like, ‘Yes. Sign me up for all of that!’ “
He similarly found Christine special right off the bat.
“I’m really very lucky, and very happy that someone let her go, because she’s a unicorn,” he gushed.
Woolley, who is a dad of eight, was also married before. His wife died in 2012.
“After my wife passed away, I dated and I just could never find somebody. I knew Christine was ‘the one,’” he said. “It just feels so right.”
