The One Tree Hill cast have reunited more than a decade off the air!
In a series of photos shared to Instagram on Wednesday, Sophia Bush posted the cast’s sweet get-together in Wilmington, NC, the city where the hit teen drama was shot in the early 2000s.
Alongside Bush, Hilarie Burton, Danneel Ackles, Bevin Prince, Stephen Colletti, Austin Nichols, Matt Barr and more held a meet and greet with fans, signed autographs and posed for a few group photos for the show’s 20th anniversary celebration.
“Honestly? Obsessed with us,” she quipped in the caption.
Nichols, 43, also captured the reunion in his own Instagram post that highlighted some of his favorite moments with the cast.
“Got to hang out with some great humans this weekend,” he wrote in the caption. “Old friends. Old stories. Lots of laughs. And made a bunch of new friends. Thank you to everyone who made this happen!”
“Love you buddy,” Burton said in the comments section.
The Dawson’s Creek, 41, alum also shared a few behind-the-scenes moments from their gathering on her Instagram account.
“All of this is just happiness. People I love. People I miss. People I can’t wait to work with again,” she began in the caption.
“I spent 6 years on OTH,” she gushed. “I’ve spent 14 years celebrating what comes AFTER with these people. They’ve heard me. Healed me. Humored me. I’m just really really grateful that we get these magical little moments to be together.”
One Tree Hill, which originally aired on Sept. 23, 2003, focused on the lives of half-brothers, Lucas Scott ( Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott ( James Lafferty) growing up in the fictional town of Tree Hill, North Carolina. It followed them as they competed to be a part of their school’s basketball team, as well as highlights the drama that ensued as a result of their entangled romantic lives.
The teen drama was a mainstay on The WB from 2003 until 2006. At that point, The WB and UPN came together to form The CW, which became the home of One Tree Hill from 2006 up until its final season in 2012.
Though Murrary wasn’t seen at the cast’s latest reunion, he celebrated the 20th anniversary of the show’s premiere on his Instagram Story in September.
“Happy 20th Fam #3” he wrote in one post- which was soundtracked by One Tree Hill’s theme song, “I Don’t Want to Be” by Gavin DeGraw — with a GIF that said: “From Downtown.”
“If you’d have asked me back in 2003… Never in my wildest dreams would I’ve thought we’d still have this magical bond” he continued, adding the fistbumping emoji. The actor concluded his first post with the word “Grateful,” and a prayer emoji.
