Despite Jenna Dewan's due date swiftly approaching, the dynamic actress remains resolutely active.
The 43-year-old "Step Up" luminary, anticipating her third child and second with fiancé Steve Kazee, showcased a Pilates session on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 21.
With meticulous attention to form, Dewan positioned herself on all fours on a Cadillac Reformer, diligently extending and elevating one leg. Her foot pressed against a wooden block affixed to the Pilates apparatus.
"One, good, maintain your breathing," instructed Dewan's Pilates mentor, Kim Carruthers, from behind the camera. "Keep your neck aligned. Two, excellent Jenna. Three, four, five, splendid."
Dewan captioned the clip with “@physicalperfectionpilates” accompanied by a red heart emoji.
Subsequently, the actress and dancer shared another video, demonstrating an exercise where she drew her arms behind her while balancing on one leg atop the equipment.
"@physicalperfectionpilates, it’s your calming voice for me," Dewan remarked with a laughing emoji.
"One, good, keep breathing. Two, lean forward. Three, four. Well done, only five more Jenna. Five, shoulders down, neck a bit more neutral, perfect," her trainer continued.
Prior to these workout snippets, Dewan posted a mirror selfie flaunting her baby bump in workout attire.
Already a mother to son Callum, 4, with Kazee, and daughter Everly, 10, with ex-husband Channing Tatum, Dewan is an avid Pilates enthusiast.
In April, she mentioned experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions, accompanied by a Pilates workout snapshot. The Cleveland Clinic describes Braxton Hicks as practice contractions during pregnancy, not indicative of actual labor, but a preparatory mechanism for the body.
Dewan’s latest Pilates session follows her celebration earlier this month, marking one month left in her pregnancy with a nude photo in front of a large window.
"One more month 🤍," she captioned the May 8 image.
The Quran - Chapter At-Tur : 09 - 18
on the Day the heavens will be shaken violently,
and the mountains will be blown away entirely.
Then woe on that Day to the deniers—
those who amuse themselves with falsehood!
˹It is˺ the Day they will be fiercely shoved into the Fire of Hell.
˹They will be told,˺ “This is the Fire which you used to deny.
Is this magic, or do you not see?
Burn in it! It is the same whether you endure ˹it˺ patiently or not. You are only rewarded for what you used to do.”
Indeed, the righteous will be in Gardens and bliss,
enjoying whatever their Lord will have granted them. And their Lord will have protected them from the torment of the Hellfire.
يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاءُ مَوْرًا (...the Day when the sky will tremble, a horrible trembling, ...52:9) The lexicographical denotation of the word mawr is violent shaking, or movement caused by unrest.
This verse describes the violent movement of the heavens on the Day of Resurrection.
