In a preview for the July 18 episode of "The Kardashians", Kim Kardashian revealed that she is recovering from a painful injury to the middle finger of her left hand.
In the clip, the 43-year-old Skims founder is seen with a splint on her middle finger as she visits a doctor for a checkup. Her ring finger also shows a mark or injury at the tip.
Kardashian removes the splint, exposing what looks like a bloody stump at the tip of her finger. The doctor remarks, “Oh, it looks great.”
“Do you think that looks great?” the American Horror Story actress responds, clearly shocked.
“The tip broke off,” Kardashian explains in her confessional as an X-ray appears on the screen. “It was more painful than childbirth."
Details about how Kardashian injured herself remain unclear, but she was seen earlier this year with two fingers on her left hand bandaged. In a March Instagram reel, where she showcased the contents of her purse, Kardashian—her fingers wrapped—mentioned carrying bandages because she had hurt herself.
The reality star humorously noted that the thick wraps around her fingers are “very stylish” and joked, “I’ve been loving this look lately,” while pretending to apply under-eye cream and blush with her bandaged fingers.
“I sacrificed my fingers for beauty,” she joked.
