“You trying to give people stomach aches!” Tammy says of the dish made "fatter" by her sister in clip of '1000-Lb. Sisters'
Tammy Slaton is worried about getting a stomach ache after seeing her sister Amy Slaton’s questionable cooking skills.
In a clip from Tuesday’s season premiere of 1000-Lb. Sisters, the 38-year-old is sitting in the kitchen watching her sister cook shrimp alfredo — with very unusual ingredients.
“What the f— are you cooking?” Tammy says before Amy replies, “I'm making a shrimp alfredo, but I'm making it my way.”
Tammy hesitantly asks what seasonings her sister is pouring into the pot.
“Girl, I don’t even know. I just grab s—,” Amy, 36, admits. There's red onion, garlic, you know I'm big on the ranch powder. There's chamoy. There's slap your Mama. There's everything bagel. There's adobo.”
“I never follow a recipe. I can't explain it. It's just it's like my grandma cooks through me and just grabs stuff and just adds it,” she explains. “Like I won't tell you how much I add, I won't tell you what I add cause most of the time I don't even know what spice I'm grabbing. Literally.”
Tammy sits up in her chair with a disgusted expression as Amy dumps several heaping spoonfuls of crushed garlic into the pot.
“Girl! How much you cooking?” she shouts. “You trying to give people stomach aches!”
“Amy's known for making weird concoctions of food,” Tammy adds in a confessional. The clip then cuts to a throwback video of Amy making pineapple lasagna.
While cooking the shrimp alfredo, Amy tells her sister that she also has a “secret ingredient”: white chocolate chips.
“I'm truly freaking scared,” Tammy says as she watches Amy pour the entire bag of chocolate chips into the pot.
“She made shrimp alfredo and put chocolate in it. Something's already fat and you're going to make it even fatter.”
