Sydney McLaughlin has once again broken the 400m hurdles world record!
The sprinter shattered, Sydney McLaughlin, 22, won the race of 400m hurdles by breaking her own previous world record and won the Gold Medal at the World Athletics Championship in the Eugene, Oregon.
McLaughlin's previous record was 51.41 seconds and current record broken with 50.68 seconds at the World Athletics Championship.
According to NBC Sports, McLaughlin said,
"We thought we'd be able to go a little faster [than 50.68], But we're super grateful with that time. Anything under 51 was a win for us."
McLaughlin also shared a series of photos after winning the 400m hurdles race and wrote a narrative caption,
