Meri Brown has revealed that her time in Arizona may be coming to an end.
In the latest episode of Sister Wives, she dropped the bombshell while meeting with Robyn and Kody Brown about their plans for the family’s Coyote Pass property in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Meri, 52, had been spending more time in Utah focusing on her LuLaRoe clothing business and her bed and breakfast, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, which “needs” her presence, she told Robyn, 45, and Kody, 54.
“I wasn’t even planning on talking about this, but I guess here we are,” Meri began. “I was up at the bed and breakfast this past weekend and it needs me.”
In a confessional, Meri revealed that she is not sure if it has to do with her mother Bonnie — who ran Lizzie’s before her death in 2021 — but she feels “drawn” to the Utah business.
“I don’t know if it’s because mom is gone, but there’s an empty feeling and I’m feeling very, very drawn to being there,” the TLC star said.
After Robyn asked her what that means, Meri revealed that “coupled with everything else that’s been going on and the statements that Kody has made to me this year” she “probably” will not be renewing her Arizona lease.
Meri also said that she does not necessarily feel the same about Coyote Pass.
“I’m not saying anything about this property because my intention has always been to build here,” she told the pair.
After learning of Meri’s decision — and that she does not know how temporary it will be — Robyn broke down in tears.
“Meri is saying that she needs to move,” she said in an emotional confessional. “Despite the fact that I just feel like my world is crumbling down, I can’t fight it because it’s not fair to Meri.”
“What I really want to do is yell,” she continued. “What I really want to do is scream. What I really want to do is just say, ‘No. Please don’t do this.’”
Despite Robyn’s reaction, however, Meri is confident in her decision to move and said that anyone else’s feeling about it are “irrelevant.”
“I’m not going to apologize for what I know in my heart is what I need to do,” she said in an on-camera interview. “If it’s going to hurt Robyn’s feelings, if Kody’s going to be jumping for joy … whatever the emotion that somebody else has about it is irrelevant.”
Meri’s decision came on the heels of her and Kody’s decision to end to their marriage, which also unfolded during the episode, days before the trio’s discussion about the Coyote Pass property. They first announced the split on social media in January.
After sharing news of their separation to Robyn, who had to walk away from the conversation, and explaining why it is not “fair” for Kody and Meri to stay together anymore, the latter hugged the pair before parting ways.
Robyn is now the Brown family patriarch’s only wife after Christine Brown and Janelle Brown also left the plural marriage.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
