Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is celebrating how her scars are healing.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum posted on Instagram Thursday, showing her surgical scar from her removed melanoma.
In the carousel post, she first shared a side-by-side photo of the scar’s progress throughout the past three months. Followers can see how the dark red scar on her back has faded throughout the past few months following her December surgery.
In the second photo, the 42-year-old shared a close-up image of an “abnormal spot” that her doctor noticed. The spot is on her bicep, rather than her back where most of her melanoma spots were found.
He is the One Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons ˹their˺ sins. And He knows whatever you do.

In her caption, the TV personality shared an update on her recovery process, noting that she recently attended her three-month skin check.
“What a difference 3 months can make! My scar is healing nicely, and I have the best doctors to thank,” she began in the caption.
“But in full transparency, also during my three-month checkup, there was one abnormal spot the doctor felt we should biopsy,” she revealed. “It’s on the other side of my body, so praying it’s nothing.”
“But felt it’s a great time to remind you to get those skin checks ❤️,” she concluded.
In September, Mellencamp Arroyave shared that she had been diagnosed with her 13th melanoma. The mother of three was first diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in October 2022.
More recently, the Two Ts In A Pod host showed a quick glance at her scar in late February in an Instagram Reel.
She began the video by showing her back briefly for the camera and then hopped into a series of jumping jacks, which also provided a peek at her healing scar.
“You are a fighter,” she began in the caption. “Believe me, I need the reminder as much as anybody. Sometimes life punches you right in the face, knocks you to the ground, and leaves you thinking, ‘Why should I get back up?’ I’m here to tell you: the answer is always, ‘Because you can.’”
Before that video, Mellencamp Arroyave shared on Instagram that her “word for 2024” is “strength.”
The TV personality revealed to followers that each year, she chooses a word to focus on and revealed that she “consistently joked” that this year’s word would be “cope.” But after February began, she decided to refocus her year on the word “strength.”
“I had convinced myself that this state of constant crushing anxiety was the new me and I just had to learn to ‘cope,’” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
“But the truth is, EFF THAT,” added the accountability coach. “I am now focusing on how I can be the strongest version of me possible.”
