The actress has shared her aspirations amid her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis.
Christina Applegate has several goals she hopes to achieve "with the days I have left in life"—and not all of them are serious.
On X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Applegate, 52, posted, "There are things I want to do with the days I have left in life. I want to work with Shirley MacLaine and do shots with Cher! And yes, my days are so big. Just saying."
Though MacLaine recently turned 90, she shows no signs of slowing down. She is set to start filming a new movie, "People Not Places", in Atlantic City this year and will be releasing a new book, "The Wall of Life", on October 22, which features photos from her life.
As for the shots with Cher, fans tagged the pop icon in Applegate's post, but Cher has yet to respond.
Applegate's post comes as she continues to navigate life with multiple sclerosis, a diagnosis she received in 2021.
This isn't the first health challenge for the "Dead to Me" star. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, she underwent a double mastectomy and had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in 2017 due to carrying the BRCA1 gene mutation, which increases the risk of cancer.
Applegate has been open about her health journey on "MeSsy", a podcast she co-hosts with "Sopranos" alum Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who revealed her own MS diagnosis in 2020.
According to Verywell Health, MS "is a chronic disease, but it's almost never a fatal one," thanks to advancements in treatment.
However, MS comes with a range of symptoms, including pain, vertigo, short-term memory issues, and fatigue.
Applegate, who shares her 13-year-old daughter Sadie with her husband, musician Martyn Le Noble, described her diagnosis as "devastating." She told, "I know I’ll live a long enough life to experience my kid and the things she’s going to do. And I need to be here, so I’ve got to fight."
